ZAZ Digital Solutions ("we," "us," or "our") built the IOU: Personal Debt Tracker app. This SERVICE is provided by ZAZ Digital Solutions and is intended for use as is.

• Personal Identifiers: Full Name, National ID Number (MyKad / Passport), Phone Number, and Email Address.
• Documentary Data: Digital signature verifications and uploaded images (such as payment receipts).

2. Biometric Authentication

Our app utilizes your device's built-in biometric authentication (such as Fingerprint or Face ID) to secure the application and authorize sensitive record-locking actions.

Please note: We DO NOT collect, transmit, or store your biometric data on our servers. The biometric verification is handled entirely locally by your device's operating system.

3. Camera and Storage Permissions

We require access to your device's camera and photo gallery to:

• Scan Profile QR Codes to auto-fill contract information seamlessly.
• Extract text from your National ID using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for profile completion.
• Allow you to attach payment receipts to your personal transaction history.

Images processed by OCR or QR Scanners are evaluated locally or securely processed and are not permanently retained on our servers beyond their intended use.

4. Third-Party Services & Cloud Storage

The app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. We securely store your encrypted ledger data using Google Firebase (Firestore & Authentication) to enable real-time syncing across your devices and ensure data recovery.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal data only as long as your account is active. You have the right to request the deletion of your account and personal data at any time.

Our app includes an in-app "Delete Account" feature. You may also submit a deletion request via our Account Deletion Page. Once requested, your personal data will be permanently removed from our active database.

6. Financial Disclaimer

IOU: Personal Debt Tracker is strictly a utility and productivity app for casual, personal record-keeping. Our app does not provide, facilitate, or broker any financial loans, interests, banking services, or commercial money lending activities. All logged items are for the user's private, personal reference only.

7. Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
